CORNERSTONE SYSTEMS EXPANDS BOSTON OFFICE

Memphis, TN., October 6, 2005 – Cornerstone Systems has announced the opening of a new, full-service office in Hopedale, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston.

Mr. Burke Anderson, Vice President of Business Development will lead the sales and marketing efforts of the new office. He joined Cornerstone Systems in April, 2004. Mr. Anderson brings a wealth of transportation industry experience to Cornerstone, most recently with Hub Group.

Cornerstone’s Boston office will also be the company’s national railcar operations center. Until now, the railcar business has been controlled out of the Memphis headquarters. This facet of Cornerstone’s transportation business has seen triple-digit growth over the past year thanks, in great part, to Anderson’s sales efforts. “With the higher cost of fuel now, we can capitalize on the efficiencies of rail transportation” said Anderson. “Of course, rail is a big part of our operation, but we will also continue to take advantage of Cornerstone’s expertise with intermodal and highway transportation services to build more business throughout New England.”

In addition to sales, the new Boston office offers complete operations logistics support. Local and regional clients will receive an even higher level of operations service for their intermodal, trucking, railroad and logistics needs.

Ms. Leesa Bennett has joined Cornerstone Systems to direct the operations efforts of the new Boston office. Ms. Bennett has over 13 years of transportation experience, most recently with Hub Group in Boston. Her background includes extensive railcar and operations management experience. “The new Boston office will provide a single point of contact for Cornerstone clients and will help us to continue growing the business here” said Ms. Bennett.

Ms. Diane Anastas is the new railcar operations coordinator for Cornerstone Systems’ Boston location. “She will be reporting directly to, and assisting, Leesa Bennett with all facets of our boxcar operations as it continues to grow”, according to Mr. Bruce Hallmann, Senior Vice President for Sales.

“We have been extremely pleased with the growth in our railcar program. This new full service office will not only enhance that business, but will allow us to better serve our Northeastern customers with our other transportation products”, said Rick Rodell, chairman and CEO of Cornerstone Systems.

Cornerstone Systems offers a full complement of logistics services including rail, truck brokerage, dedicated carriage, on-site management, warehousing and spotting services. Headed by a highly experienced executive team, Cornerstone continues to attain one of the highest growth rates in the transportation industry.
