By definition Business Continuity is the activity performed by an organization to ensure that critical business functions will be available to customers, suppliers, regulators, and other entities that must have access to those functions.  What if a disaster occurs?  Are you working with a company with a business continuity plan?

With multiple levels of redundancy, Cornerstone Systems’ infrastructure (network, system and security) is protected by a well-constructed disaster recovery plan already in place to keep your business moving forward.

Reliability is the key to Cornerstone’s success.  When it comes down to moving freight, you can depend on us.

We want to provide our customers with the best transportation solutions available.  The only way we know how to accomplish that is to have proven professionals, backed up by the latest in technological services.

Our business continuity plan utilizes Cisco blade servers, an EMC storage area network (SAN) and VMWare virtualization software.  This environment provides complete system redundancy and seamless recovery in the event of hardware failures.  Cornerstone’s corporate office (Memphis, Tennessee) protects its physical infrastructure with a large battery backup system (UPS) in conjunction with a 400kW generator along with a secondary 125KW generator configured as a failsafe backup.  This ensures system availability in the event of an extended period of total power loss.

Wait…there’s more…Cornerstone also has a fully redundant co-location facility in Franklin, TN in which all systems and data are replicated on an hourly basis.  This constantly replicated “hot-site” in Franklin, TN provides 100% systems availability in the event of a catastrophic disaster.

So what does this mean to you?  No disruption.  No data loss.  No downtime.  Cornerstone Systems has Rock Solid Technology in place to keep you one step ahead of the unexpected.
