Cornerstone Systems Names Pat Allred Director of Transportation
MEMPHIS, TENN. – Pat Allred was recently named Director of Transportation for Cornerstone Systems, a third party logistics provider headquartered in Memphis.
She joined Cornerstone in 2016 as Corporate Dray Manager with nearly 30 years of experience in supply chain and global transportation management. She was promoted to Manager of International Freight/Domestic Transportation in 2018. In this position, she realigned the department, grew strategic partnerships with long-term customers and established supply chain milestone reporting for visibility, customer support requirements and team operational excellence. In 2020, she acquired responsibility of Cornerstone’s On-Site Logistics team, managing the remote operational teams at Plaskolite in Olive Branch, MS and WM Barr in Memphis, TN.
Prior to joining Cornerstone, Allred spent 18 years in different management positions at The Home Depot Corporate Office in Atlanta within the International Logistics and Domestic Souring/Carrier Relations Department. She worked directly with ocean carriers, third party logistics providers, North American ocean terminals, port authorities and Class I railroads.
Allred is a member of Vistage International. She has also served on the Board of Atlanta Maritime Association and has been involved in a host of various industry associations such as Memphis World Trade Club, Agriculture transportation Coalition, RILA, The Waterfront Coalition, Network for Executive Women Atlanta Chapter, American Corporate Partners (ACP) Formal Mentorship Program, National Head Start Association Member and former student and in 2006 Journal of Commerce Women in Transportation inductee.
