Purpose Statement and Core Values

Soon after we opened for business back in 1997, Founder/Chairman Rick Rodell reflected on why he created Cornerstone Systems.  We asked, why did you start this company, what was the purpose behind it?  To provide a better place for people to work, he said. Rick had decided to start Cornerstone on values and principles that meant more than money.  He, along with our Senior Staff, soon added core values of integrity – period, honesty – absence of deceit, respect – how we treat people, loyalty – what we give and expect in return, and never satisfied – we will continuously seek improvement. This provided a solid foundation for how we conduct ourselves, how we hire, and how we interact with customers, vendors and co-workers.  Our Purpose Statement and Core Values were born, and became imbedded as the center of our corporate culture.
